HELP!
This
site uses long pages that scroll.
To scroll the page up or down
use the scroll bar at the far right of the screen. Click & drag
the grey (or blue) box up or down. Or click the top/bottom arrows
to move up/down.
Alternatively use the arrow keys on the middle of the keyboard or
Page-Up, Page-Down, Home, End to scroll around. Best of all use
a mouse with a scrolling wheel. |
Apart from
pages retaining the old design, each page has a slide-out menu at the
left side, which tracks down the page as you scroll. The tab selectors
around the header cause a description, information or further navigation
to pop up. This should stay in place for access by the mouse pointer,
unless another tab is activated or the pointer is moved off the header
section.
Major
sections of pages can be addressed directly from the browser after the
slash: e.g. newmills.org/help or newmills.org/arts.
- The
site is best viewed at a screen size of 800x600 pixel or more using
MS Internet Explorer (IE) Version-5 or above.
- If
you cannot see enough of the page on your screen, then try toggling
F11 to give Full Screen in IE.
- Use
Scroll Bar at right of screen or middle keypad of your keyboard to
move around pages - 'Home-Key' takes you to the top of the current
page.
- Many
pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them, then click BACK to return
to the page (a quick and easy way is to right click then click BACK
at the top).

In order to print pages centrally on A4 paper in portrait-orientation,
set the left margin to zero in Page Setup.
