These photos were taken after a large snowfall between Christmas and New Year in 2000 and are matched by complementary sets of scenes photographed at the beginning of the summer and late autumn in 2001. They depict locations in and around the Torrs, where the Sett and Goyt rivers join in a gorge through the town of New Mills.
